Drake "Einstein" Diamond A Double Dapple Dauchshund

This is the story of a puppy that showed up, deaf/blind, in the rescuer world at the age of one and a half. Where he had been for that time is not known, but he was a terrified puppy lost in a dark world of silence when he was found. This is his story after being rescued. Follow along as I outline my peaks and valleys, trying to reach and understand him. The joys and pain that we both go through.

Why Can't I Leave Him Alone

November 18th, 2012

The day was pretty miserable.  I did not work in the yard at all.  I let Drake out three times on his own for fifteen minutes.  At fifteen minutes I walked to where he was leashed him and walked him back into the house.
